Fisks in Missouri
Missouri Fisks

Dale and Lynette moved to Pleasant Hill, Missouri (SE of Kansas City) in August of 2006. We are learning to slow down, but continue to have adventures! Click the photo above to view a few images from our pleasant home in Pleasant Hill.

September, 2007

Dale has started (finally!) to get antsy. So now he's temporarily employed as organist and handbell director at 2nd Presbyterian in Kansas City, going to rehearsals, practicing, etc. Lynette is working on her jewelry business spending time in her basement studio and on the computer trying to get thing for sale.  (Click on the jewelry links to the right to see what she's doing and purchase something.)

March, 2008

After 6 months , the Presbyterians are showing few signs of trying very hard to replace their temp organist! Dale still accompanies their choir, plays on Sundays, and directs their handbell choir - and they love him.

He's also helping the Lutherans - both at our own congregation in Pleasant Hill and he'll be a clinician/teacher at the LCMS Commission on Worship’s national worship conference to be held at Seward this coming July and at Lectures in Church Music in River Forest in the fall.

Lynette is active in several local artists guilds - Kansas City Polymer Clay Guild, Bead Society of Kansas City and the Kansas City Chapter of the PMC Guild. She volunteers as computer geek for her church, and as webmaster for the two of the above groups and is thinking of having a small consulting business called "Hold Your Hand Computer Consulting" - helping artists get their websites going.
